The Naval Museum is a maritime museum in Den Helder. The museum is located on the former Willemsoord Naval Dockyard and is housed in the Defence Museums Foundation SDM. The museum consists of several buildings on the shore and several ships on the quay. At the Naval Museum, you will experience the past and present of the Dutch Navy. Unique are the 3 museum ships, of which the submarine Tonijn is the most striking. On board, former crew members tell wonderful stories.
