De Groot Recreatie organises various mudflat walks from Noord-Holland on the former island of Wieringen, located on the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you can experience first-hand how unique this beautiful piece of nature is while walking the mud flats.
Tidal flat walking provokes an enormous urge for freedom. Mud, water and beautiful wide surroundings are ingredients for a wonderfully active and relaxing activity.
We first go by boat, watch seals, and then hike across the mudflats to the dike. Those who are poorly on foot can also stay on board.
